Shadow Puppet presents Alumbranza - the new ambient branch of the label. The first release from the series is 'Cinco' by a former member of the Sonos sound art collective - César Hernández Martínez. Colombiano, the classically trained musician presents an exploration of sound behaviour through the use of field recordings and natural reverberations.

On this release, César finds the root of his sonic experiments in the use of natural reverberation, playing back his own field recordings and instruments in different spaces and re-recording the result. His aim with this is to let the intricacies and characters that the same sound source can bring out in different scenarios dictate what the piece should express musically.
